I accidentally deleted some feeds. It relates to a previous post where the "Trash" icon is immediately next to the edit button. From the user perspective it's easy to mistakenly hit delete when they want to edit. Maybe changing the icon or using the word "Remove". But then also allow for retrieval of deleted feeds in case the user wants to restore them for some reason (e.g. accidental delete).1 vote
You should be able to export a feed to an RSS so that you can push that RSS to other Apps (i.e. evernote, Pocket etc, Feedly etc.)1 vote
Have a bookmarklet so that papers found on the web can be redirected to my scizzling pot3 votes
Thank you for the great idea, we will look into it and plan to add this feature.
Either this feature doesn't exist, or I can't find it.1 vote
Thank you for contacting us. You can go to this page: http://www.myscizzle.com/auth/signup and update your email (then just click save).
The link to it got lost when we updated our website recently but we’re working on adding it back.
Please let me know if you have any issues with updating your email and we will assist you.
Since I research different topics by feeds, it would be nice to be able to sort my sizzle pot by tags or at least feeds.1 vote
Thank you for your feedback, sorting by feed name and adding tags is on our to do list.
If I want to search for a keyword but only in Nature/Science/Cell journals I need to use brackets for that: "aging" AND ("Science" OR "Cell" OR "Nature").
Is this supported?2 votes
This is in the works now. For now, As you probably know, if you’ll do Aging and Cell or Science or Nature on Pubmed (or Scizzle for now), you’ll get results for Aging and Cell and everything from Nature OR Science. Since we know how annoying it is, allowing this type of search is now in the works.
One that I miss is that I can set my feed to automatically delete entries I scrolled over (as an option in settings). Another is just "Select all" if I want to delete most article in my feed and prefer to uncheck the few I want left.1 vote
Great idea for the delete as you scroll. Will review it and see what we can do.
Why not add a "set as homepage" button ?1 vote
Thanks. Would you set Scizzle as your home page?
It’s planned for iOS.
Have the option for searching more than 30 days back and/ or for more than 25 results when setting up a new feed.16 votes
The list of feeds currently displays a number for citations in the past 30 days, but it would be nice if that number could decrease after you've viewed those citations (aka mark as read) so that you know what is new relative to each time you log in.1 vote
Thank you for your feedback. This is definitely an improvement we’re planning and thinking of the best way to do this.
may it's only me, but I deleted the first feed I created thinking it was the bin!
Thank you Maria for the feedback! and how unfortunate you deleted your first feed! We hope it wasn’t too much work to re-create it. Can you please clarify some more what you mean about the bin visual?
It would be great to allow to export to Refworks or other similar software.5 votes
The export is now working in RIS format, which managers like RefMan, Papers and EndNote (and others) can “recognize”.
We are aware the export is still a bit clanky and working on improving it!
Please let us know how it works with Refworks!
Enable downloading PDFs directly from the abstract window8 votes
We’re in the process of figuring out the technical aspect.
My name does not display correctly, and it's because of the non-english characters, such as "ć".1 vote
